DES MOINES — The Charlie Daniels Band has been added to the Alabama concert Aug. 17 at 8 p.m. Seth Ennis will open for Little Big Town Aug. 18. The traditional Grand Outlaw National Tractor and Truck Pull will be held Aug. 16 at 2 p.m. All tickets are on sale through www.etix.com or 800-514-3849.

Grand Outlaw National Tractor and Truck Pull tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-11, children under 5 are free.

The Iowa State Fair has been offering Tractor Pulling on the Fairgrounds since 1990. Tractor pulling is a competitive motor sport in which modified farm tractors, or modified tractors drag a metal sled containing a box filled with weight along a course.

Alabama with special guest The Charlie Daniels Band at 8 p.m. on Aug. 17 will have three tiers of seating with tickets of $57, $47 and $42. Little Big Town with special guest Seth Ennis tickets are $52, $42 and $32. Ticket prices vary depending on location of seats in the Grandstand and tickets for these and other State Fair shows can be purchased at www.etix.com. All concert events are reserved seating.
