Residents and travelers who passed through Conrad on Tuesday may have caught a glimpse of a peculiar site along Center Street near Ritchie Industries. According to information provided by the city, a company was removing an LP tank in the morning and into the afternoon, and before they could do it, they had to burn off the remaining propane still inside of the tank. The fireball in the picture lasted several hours, and the Conrad Fire Department was in direct contact with the company throughout the process.
