Another arrest made for Olive Street residence burglary
The Marshalltown Police Department (MPD) has made progress on an extensive investigation of multiple burglaries, including one at an Aug. 14 Olive Street home and two Marshalltown brothers have been arrested.
The MPD arrested Ashton Mason Clark, 20, on Wednesday and Hunter David Clark, 23, on Nov. 6. More arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
Ashton Mason Clark is charged with first-degree theft, a Class C felony; second-degree theft and four counts of third-degree burglary, all Class D felonies; and fifth-degree theft, a misdemeanor. Hunter David Clark faces the same charges. A Class C felony carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine, and Class D carries a max of five years in prison and a $7,500 fine
Arrest warrants have also been issued for their father, Giles Evan Richard Clark, 50, of Marshalltown, for the same investigation. He is wanted for first-degree theft; possession of a firearm as a felon, a Class D felony; third-degree burglary; and possession of burglar tools, an aggravated misdemeanor. Search warrants were issued and executed for Giles Evan Richard Clark.
