Marshalltown man charged with burglary, theft after ‘extensive’ investigation
A Marshalltown man has been arrested and charged in connection with multiple recent local burglary incidents.
According to a press release from the Marshalltown Police Department, MPD officers responded to a private residence in the 1000 block of East Olive Street to investigate a burglary on the afternoon of Wednesday, Aug. 14. Upon arrival, they received information from the victim about a burglary and theft crime that was believed to have occurred earlier that same day.
Following an extensive investigation, Hunter David Clark, 23, of Marshalltown, was arrested on Nov. 6 and charged with four counts of third degree burglary along with single counts of first degree theft, second degree theft, fifth degree theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Following his arrest, Clark was taken to the Marshall County jail, and he remains in custody.
