Marshalltown man charged with sexual abuse
A Marshalltown man was arrested and charged with felony sexual abuse on Tuesday afternoon.
At 4:03 p.m, the Marshalltown Police Department arrested Ibrahim Lugendo, 27, and charged him with third degree sexual abuse. A criminal complaint alleges that Lugendo “walked up to the victim and grabbed the victim’s hand, forcing her to touch his genitals by putting her hand down his pants” at the Lincoln Way Casey’s store on Nov. 24. Following his arrest, he was taken to the Marshall County Jail and remains in custody.
A preliminary hearing has been set for Jan. 2, 2025.
