With colder temperatures and snow hitting the ground in Marshalltown, the downtown ice rink at the southwest intersection of Center and Main Streets officially reopened for the season on Monday after an announcement from the Parks and Recreation Department. In the above photo, Titan Metz, trailed by his father Phil, gets some laps in on the rink, which is a partnership between the Iowa Wild and MARSHALLTOWN Company.
