During the spring break week, the Marshall County Conservation Board (MCCB) has hosted a wide range of activities for local children and their families including an Animal Meet and Greet with Naturalist Emma Bruck at the Grimes Farm Conservation Center on Thursday morning. The creatures she introduced included a salamander, a turtle named Mr. Fluffy believed to be between 40 and 50 years old, and a box snake, and Bruck offered the opportunity to touch each animal as well.
