A semi truck loaded with grain in the 2200 mile of Highway 30 westbound went into the north ditch and rolled over on Friday afternoon just before 3 p.m., according to Marshall County Sheriff Joel Phillips.
The driver, who suffered minor injuries, was trapped and needed to be extracted before being transported to the local UnityPoint Health facility. Phillips said high winds were not a contributing factor in the crash, which occurred about four miles west of Marshalltown near the Iowa Avenue entrance ramp.
