The House of Compassion’s annual Soup Bowl Luncheon drew a sizable crowd at the First United Methodist Church on West Main Street Sunday, as those who attended got to choose between broccoli cheddar, Rosa Maria and lentil bean options provided by Opa Grill and take home one of the many bowls crafted by Marshalltown High School art students and staff members.
