Marshalltown students shine in art showcase

The Arts + Culture Alliance announces a special exhibit showcasing the exceptional artwork of Marshalltown Community School District students across all grade levels.

This collection features a selection of the award-winning pieces from the MCSD’s Art Show last month, highlighting the talent and dedication of its young artists. The display showcases more than 50 pieces with a diverse array of styles and personal stories, all brought to life by the creativity of the Bobcat students.

“We are incredibly proud of the hard work and passion our students pour into their art. This exhibit is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their achievements and share their creativity with the community,” said Shannon Johnson, marketing and program coordinator.

The exhibit will be on display from April 3 to May 2, with viewing hours from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursdays or by appointment. A special evening viewing is scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on April 17.

The public is invited to takepART in the imagination and skill of the local youth artists.
