Eileen Warda was born on July 20, 1948, in Turlock, CA, the daughter of John and Juila (Sargis) Warda. She was raised and educated in California where she graduated high school. Following high school, Eileen obtained her undergraduate degree from San Jose State University and her Teaching Certificate from UC Davis.
The love of children was obvious in Eileen’s life both at home and at school. She was a devoted and cherished school teacher at GMG for 17 years until her retirement.
On June 12, 1976, Eileen was united in marriage to the love of her life, Alfred H. Marshall in Walnut Creek, CA. From this union two children were born: Michael and Matthew.
At school she shared the love of her grandchildren and at home she shared the love of her students. Eileen also really enjoyed making her own jewelry.
She was also a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother and truly a Woman who served God. Her Christian faith inspired many and her devotion could be seen by countless others. She was active in the Gideon’s, especially the Tuesday night Bible study at the County Correctional Facility.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 42 years: Alfred; children: Michael (Jocelyn) Marshall, of Shreveport, LA and Matthew (Whitney) Marshall, of Turlock, CA; grandchildren: Elizabeth (14), David (12), Johanna (2) and Jonathan (7 mo.) Marshall; siblings: Kathleen (Mickey) McNickle, David John (Jacqueline) Warda, Deloris (Gary) Fincher and Melissa (Shawn) Duby; as well as 3 aunts and 3 uncles.
