Robert “Bob” Fouch, 78, of Marshalltown, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 12, 2021 at Bickford Cottage while under the care of Iowa River Hospice. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be given and a private family gathering will be held.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Bob’s name to Iowa River Hospice. Born on March 25, 1942 at home in Marshalltown, Robert Eugene Fouch was the son of Dale Sr. and Deloris (Menter) Fouch. He attended school in Le Grand, graduating from LDF High School in 1960.
On July 16, 1962 he was united in marriage to Lola Mary Klosterman at St. Joseph Catholic Church in State Center. They lived and raised their family in Marshalltown, where Bob farmed with his dad and raised his own livestock. He also worked for over 43 years at Emerson – Fisher Controls, where he was a member of the union and retired on December 1, 2003.
In his free time, Bob enjoyed fishing and working on his antique tractors. Family was very important to him, and he especially loved spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: son, Dennis (Dixie) Fouch and daughter, Pam (Steve) Atcher; his grandchildren: Stashia (Pete) Hutzel, Colton (Kiana) Fouch, Logan Fouch, Joshua (Mark) Atcher and Jessica (Jacob) Molitor and great-grandchildren: Oliver Hutzel, Kodiak Fouch, Olivia Molitor and Owen Molitor.
In eternal life, Bob is reunited with his wife of 50 years, Lola and his parents.
