Mary Lou Hobbs, 91, of Gilman, IA, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Grinnell Regional Medical Center in Grinnell, IA. Cremation rights were accorded. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the United Church of Christ in Gilman. Mary Lou was born November 20, 1930, in Gilman, IA, to James and Darlene Burnett.
Those left to cherish her memory include her grandchildren; Angela Mergen (Shane Webster), Josh Hobbs (Darcy Hall), great grandchildren; Camden Hobbs, Coy Mergen, Aria Mergen, Renly Hobbs, Gabe Webster and her dear friend, Don Campbell.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Ronald Hobbs, her two sons Tim and Max, as well as her parents and siblings.
