Per family wishes, cremation rites have taken place. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. JC will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown.

He is survived by his brother, Cornelius Wilkins, of Marshalltown; his sister, Yvonne (Lincoln) Woods, of Cleveland, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
