Per the wishes of Richard and his family, cremation rites have been accorded. Formal services are  planned for Saturday, April 26 (please note date) at First Presbyterian Church in Marshalltown. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. Mitchell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Richard and his family. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Arlene Lange; his children: Shawn (Mary) Lange, of Durango, CO, and Damon (Joy) Lange, of Salida, CO; his five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and his two siblings: Jolene Langle, of Austin, TX and Jean Bengford, of Phoenix, AZ.
