Per the wishes of Betty and her family, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services for Betty will take place on Saturday, March 1 (note date) at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one-hour prior beginning at 10:00 A.M. All attendees are encouraged to wear casual attire or your favorite Hawkeye attire. Left to cherish her memory are daughters: Jamie Milhous, Jackie Christerson- Knoepfler and Julie (Byron) Coleman; three grandkids; five great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Sharon (Jim) Meggison; sisters-in-law: Mary Braatz and Gwen Braatz and several nieces and nephews.
