A visitation followed by a vigil service are scheduled for Saturday February 8, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Jose will be laid to rest in Degollado, Jalisco, Mexico at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. Consuelo Yepez Martinez, of Marshalltown, Ana Maria Yepez, of California, Jose Refugio (Guillermina Rodriguez) Yepez Martinez, of Degollado, Jalisco, Esteban Yepez Martinez, of Marshalltown, Carlos Yepez Martinez, of Marshalltown, Oscar (Leticia Garcia) Yepez Martinez, of Chicago, IL, Marco Antonio (Maria Garcia) Yepez Martinez, of Marshalltown, and Francisco (Ma. del Rosario Medina) Yepez Martinez, of Marshalltown; his twelve grandchildren and his siblings: Guadalupe Yepez Soto, of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Agustin Yepez Soto and Jesus Yepez Soto, both of Chicago, IL.
