He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Emily; his two children: Eric Osmundson (Amanda Morrow), of Cedar Rapids, and Allison Osmundson, of Marshalltown; his mother Audrey Osmundson, of Mesa, AZ; sister Jean (Doug) Rother, of Golden, CO; and niece and nephew.

In honor of Mark’s lifelong dedication to Marshalltown, his family is establishing a memorial fund to support community improvements that give back to the town he loved so dearly. In lieu of flowers, please direct your contributions to the family so they can continue his legacy of generosity and civic pride.

Per the wishes of Mark and his family, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will take place on Monday, February 10 at 2:00 P.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Gregg Davidson officiating. A visitation will be held one-hour prior beginning at 1:00 P.M.
