Services for JD will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. JD is survived by his wife, Diane Strickland; his children: Jennifer (Doug) Taft and Christopher Strickland; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Linda Drew and Clark (Deb) Hassig alongside numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
