He is survived by his wife, Sandy; daughters, Debi (Mark) Chatman and Julie Baker; a granddaughter and four great-grandchildren all residing in Des Moines, Iowa; and his sister, Doloris Jennings, of Marshalltown.

Bob was anything but formal. To pay homage to him and his interests, the family asks you to wear Snoopy/Peanuts (or any) t-shirt and jeans to the service.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Mitchell Family Funeral Home, Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 12 and Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 13 at 1:30 P.M. Burial will be at St. Johns United Church of Christ Cemetery, 3103 Newby Ave., Haverhill, Iowa. A luncheon will be held at Mitchell Family Funeral Home prior to the burial.
