Our new diplomacy

To Dictatorships: Just had a very constructive 2 hour phone conversation with Putin. I can TRUST him.

To Democracies: You don’t have the cards, we have the cards. We will take control of Greenland one way or another. Ukraine, give us 40% of your scarce minerals to keep receiving aid from us. Canada, you will become our 51st state or we will completely destroy your economy.

To Palestinians: two million of you must relocate. We don’t care where to, but you can’t come back. The United States will construct the Riviera of the middle east in Gaza and will control it. Hard to imagine anyone coming up with that plan while so many innocent Palestinians are being killed or constantly evacuated while their homeland is being destroyed by bombs, ammunition and other war materials supplied by the United States. Netanyahu completely ignored Biden’s “tough calls” and empty threats to withhold aid while destroying Gaza. Under the current administration he is free to do whatever he wants. The whole world condemns Hamas’s attack on Israel and the slaughter of its citizens including women and children. But the complete destruction of Gaza and the killing of thousands of innocent Palestinians is unconscionable. It is a powerful recruiting tool for Hamas.

This is an administration devoid of decency, compassion, empathy, ethics. And our congress gave it the least qualified, most ill-prepared cabinet in our history. All the members have one common trait – complete loyalty and obedience to Trump. At cabinet meetings there is no dissent as to the actions being taken by Trump. Members just take their turns standing up and praising him.

The only pushback the administration is getting is from federal judges and ordinary citizens going to the streets. It is imperative the street demonstrations keep growing. It is too much to ask the leaders in congress to offer any resistance to their role in government being usurped by the executive branch. Their 1st priority is to get re-elected, not listen to their constituents or do what is best for the country.
