Last month, the Central Iowa Straight Shooters competed at the Iowa State Trapshooting Championship, bringing home a host of awards and trophies. The CISS high school team finished second place in varsity singles, second in handicap senior squad, second in team handicap squad, and third place in team singles. Individually, Eyan Weitzell placed third in individual handicap trap, Ray Callaway was fourth in varsity singles and a member of the 2022 All-State Team, and Keaton Woosley made the 2022 High Overall Team.
