Addy Brown

IRVING, Texas — Iowa State’s Addy Brown was named the Big 12 Conference women’s basektball Freshman of the Week, marking the third such honor for a Cyclone in the last four weeks.

Brown’s first weekly award from the Big 12 comes on the heels a 2-0 week in league play in which she averaged 19 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.

Brown recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 14 points and a 13 rebounds against Kansas, and at BYU she scored 24 points.

Fellow Cyclone Audi Crooks was the Big 12 Freshman of the Week two of the previous three weeks.
