FORT DODGE — Marshalltown boys swimming coasted to a double dual victory over Fort Dodge and Bishop Garrigan at the Fort Dodge High School pool on Thursday night.

The Bobcats beat Fort Dodge, 76-18, and bested Bishop Garrigan 78-14. Fort Dodge outscored Bishop Garrigan 64-28 in the other head-to-head matchup.

MHS won all but one event on Thursday. The relays were all 1-2 sweeps for the Bobcats and MHS also went 1-2 in four individual events.

Landon Stanley, Parker Christen, Thomas Stanley and Michael Lechnir kicked off the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay in 1:56.71. Jacob Seberger, Kade Randall, Christen and Isaac Seberger grabbed gold in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:40.32 and Charlie Gilbertson, Randall Lechnir and Isaac Seberger claimed first in the 400 free relay in 3:37.13.

Jacob Seberger added individual titles in the 200 individual medley (2:20.94) and 100 breaststroke (1:09.71). Other Bobcat individual champs on Thursday included Randall in the 200 freestyle, Lincoln Barker in the 50 freestyle, Lechnir in the 100 freestyle, Gilbertson in the 500 freestyle and Landon Stanley in the 100 backstroke.

MHS returns to action on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025 in a triangular at the Newton YMCA with NCMP and Grinnell.
