Addy Brown

AMES — Iowa State sophomore forward Addy Brown has been named the Big 12 Co-Player of the Week. Brown averaged 25.5 points per game while shooting over 70 percent from the floor against two top-15 opponents last week.

The Derby, Kansas, native posted 20 points at No. 11 Kansas State last Thursday on 8-of-11 shooting from the floor, going 4-of-5 from beyond the 3-point arc. She also pulled down four rebounds and handed out eight assists. On Sunday, she dropped a career-high 31 points against No. 9 TCU, finishing 11-of-16 from the floor and 3-of-4 from 3-point range. She tallied a team-high six rebounds to go along with five assists against the Horned Frogs.

Brown and the Cyclones (15-9, 6-5 Big 12) travel to Cincinnati (13-7, 5-5 Big 12) on Wednesday to take on the Bearcats. The game is set to tip-off at 5:30 p.m. and can be streamed on ESPN+.
