AMES — Iowa State men’s basketball coach T.J. Otzelberger and Purdue head coach Matt Painter have announced the two teams will begin a home-and-home series next season. The 2025 game will be played at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Ind., while the 2026 game will be played at Hilton Coliseum in Ames.

Both teams are currently ranked in the Top 10 in the country by The Associated Press, with the Boilermakers coming in at No. 7 and the Cyclones at No. 10. The series will bring a home game to two of the toughest places to play in the country in Mackey Arena and Hilton Coliseum.

Exact dates for the games will be announced at a later time.
