Feuerbach to return to Iowa for her fifth season

Kylie Feuerbach

IOWA CITY — University of Iowa women’s basketball player Kylie Feuerbach has elected to return for the 2025-26 season to exhaust her final season of eligibility.

The Sycamore, Ill., native has started all 32 games for the Hawkeyes and was part of the last two Final Four runs. This season, Feuerbach leads the Hawkeyes in steals (42) and is averaging 6.4 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.

Feuerbach is averaging 4.3 points per game over her collegiate career, which began with her freshman campaign at Iowa State. Feuerbach missed the entire 2022-23 season after tearing the ACL in her right knee.

“We are thrilled to have Kylie return for an extra season,” said Iowa head coach Jan Jensen. “She is a tremendous teammate above all and will give us some veteran leadership for next year. She will return as one of the top defenders in the Big Ten.”

The sixth-seeded Hawkeyes will travel to Norman, Okla., to face 11-seed Murray State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 11 a.m.

Starting at $4.38/week.
