East Marshall’s Cody Weaver shot an even-par round of 36 as the Mustang boys golf team was well clear of AGWSR, 165-195, in an NICL West dual at Wandering Creek Golf Course on Monday.

Wyatt Stalzer added runner-up honors for the Mustangs with a 39. Rylan Weaver and Jackson Bidwell closed out East Marshall’s top four on Monday at 42 and 48 strokes, respectively. Austin Crandon (49) and Gage Searle (55) posted non-counting scores toward the Mustangs’ team total.

Cody Weaver had a bogey on the par-4 No. 2 but birdied the par-5 No. 4 and made par the rest of the way.

Easton Kerns led AGWSR with a 42.

The Mustangs will join forces with the girls team for Tuesday’s Comet Co-Ed hosted by BCLUW at Oakwood Golf Course in Conrad.

EM’s Ryan runner-up at Wandering Creek

Delaney Ryan shot a 9-hole score of 50 for runner-up honors to lead East Marshall girls golf in Monday’s NICL West dual with AGWSR at Wandering Creek Golf Course.

The Cougars were victorious in the team competition, 219-246. AGWSR’s Anyia Vogel shot a 47 for medalist honors.

Rounding out East Marshall’s four scorers were Clara Crouse at 62 strokes, Hayliee Versteegh 64, and Tori Mauseth with a 70. Sadie Clark contributed a non-counting 72.

East Marshall competes in the Comet Co-Ed Invite at Oakwood Golf Course in Conrad on Tuesday.
